Updates for July 9th - July 12th:
The weekend of our systems merger has finally arrived. We are excited to be at this final step and we are dedicated to making this transition as smooth as we possibly can. By now you have received all communications from us regarding your accounts and the products attached to your accounts along with information on how each of those products will be affected during the transition this weekend. (July 9 - 12) Below are some important reminders based on what we have sent you. If you have any questions or concerns please call our main office at 256-362-2334 or reach out to your local banker.
- Current SouthFirst Online Banking Users: Effective Monday, July 12th at 6:00 am you will be able to click the above link which will take you to the "Boarding Pass". This will allow you access to your online banking accounts easily by answering the listed questions correctly. **Please Note** This link WILL NOT be active until Monday morning. You may also visit www.firstbankal.com and click through the marketing message titled "SouthFirst Online Banking Customers", this link also carries you to the "Boarding Pass".
- Debit Card Information: You may begin using your new First Bank of Alabama debit card at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 9th. Beginning at this time through Monday, July 12th this card will be available for use with stand-in limits of $300 for Point-of-Sale transactions, per day and $200 for ATM transactions, per day. What this means is, you can use your First Bank of Alabama debit card for Point-of-Sale purchases totaling $300 each day and ATM withdrawals totaling $200 each day. You can continue to use your SouthFirst Bank debit card until 8:00 am on Monday, July 12th with stand-in limits of $105 for Point-of-Sale transactions and $105 for ATM transactions. After 8:00 am on Monday, July 12th your SouthFirst Bank debit card will no longer be active.
