   Welcome Southfirst customers TO FIRST Bank of alabama!

Where you are first! 


First Bank of Alabama has been operating for more than 170 years in Talladega, Alabama and the surrounding area. Today, we remain dedicated to the very same principles we were founded on when Major James Isbell opened the bank in 1848. With branches in Talladega, Munford, Lincoln, Wedowee, Woodland, Roanoke, Ashland, and Oxford we are fully staffed to serve all of your banking needs. We value each community that we are a part of and we are excited to become a part of Sylacauga and Clanton. We believe in putting our customers and communities FIRST.  We understand that a change like this may cause some concern. Our plan is to impact you very little and make your transition as smooth as possible. Our goal is to give you even better products and services along with the same great service you have known for years from the outstanding team at SouthFirst Bank.

Over the next few weeks, we will update this page with more specific information that is important to you.  We will update you via U.S. Mail with additional information about your relationship with us in the coming weeks, as well as specific information about your accounts. 

For now, continue with business as usual.  We will give you a timely notice on when you will be able to use some of the great new services we have to offer, and when you can use office locations outside of Sylacauga and Clanton for branch services.  

A welcome letter will be sent to all SouthFirst customers in late April and you will receive specific information about your accounts in early June. The final systems merger will be completed on July 12, 2021.
